I absolutely LOVE centers and it has always been one of my favorite times of day.

I have been showing tons of kindergarten centers this year and wanted to give you a look at a first grade center activity.

In this November center, students reveal a secret CVC word by finding the beginning sound letter that goes with each picture. Then, they match the picture on the pie to the plate.

You can see how the skills are more challenging than the kindergarten centers, but they still include hands-on and interactive activities that are lots of fun!

Let’s play a FREE Thanksgiving game!

This beginning sounds game will add lots of fun during this Thanksgiving week!

Your little learner will get to practice identifying beginning sounds by choosing a card, saying the picture name, and covering the beginning sound letter on the turkey.

The best part (besides eating the candy at the end) is covering up the letter with M&M’s or candy of your choice!

You can play this game independently, with a friend, or in small groups. If you play with a friend you can see who covers all of the letters on the turkey first!

This Thanksgiving craft truly adds some fun to your Thanksgiving decor and brings a smile to everyones face that sees it!

What is even better is that your little learner gets to share everything they are thankful for on the feathers.

Share lots of laughs by sitting this turkey all over! Yes, it can sit just about anywhere!

I can only imagine where this turkey will be sitting on Thanksgiving!

Let’s make a FUN Thanksgiving treat while practicing patterns!

Turn your Rice Krispie treats into an adorable and tasty turkey!

How to make:
⭐️Make Rice Krispie Treats (use instructions on box)
⭐️Form into balls
⭐️Place 5 toothpicks on the top of the ball.
⭐️Add Fruit Loops to the toothpicks. You can make a pattern or just add them for fun!
⭐️Push in 2 M&M’s for the eyes and a piece of candy corn for the nose.

When adding the Fruit Loops, make different patterns on each toothpick.

This turkey treat is so much fun to do before Thanksgiving or even during Thanksgiving break!

Enjoy making this adorable turkey treat that is just as tasty as it is fun to make!

I love surprising my class with these the day before Thanksgiving break to celebrate all of their hard work!

Let’s practice counting by 10’s with a cute turkey craft!

Take a paper plate and cut it in half.

Add the turkey to the center and then place the numbers in order counting by 10 around the plate for the feathers.

Let's practice patterns with a turkey craft!

This turkey patterns craft will have your little learners using different colored pieces of paper to make patterns.

As they make different patterns around the turkey, they will see their turkey craft become complete because the patterns that they create will be the turkeys feathers!
