Let’s be real. Celebrating 100 days of school is no joke. The 100th day of school is basically like the Super Bowl of school days. And to be completely honest, it should be! 100 days of school is not only a huge accomplishment for your students, but it’s also a huge accomplishment for you!
Sit back and think about what the past 100 days of school have been like and I mean really think about it. Look at how far your students have come. Look at how much they have learned. They have not only grown so much in their learning, but they also have grown as a person thanks to your amazing guidance. Now think about yourself. Look at how much you have accomplished these past 100 days. I can guarantee you are an even better teacher today than you were 100 days ago. You should be so proud of yourself!

Now that everyone has worked so hard, it’s time to celebrate even harder! Let’s make 100 days of school a day that you and your students will never forget!
I am so excited to share with you some of my favorite 100 days of school ideas. I have recently updated all of my 100th day of school activities and even added quite a few new activities that I can’t wait for you to see!
100th Day of School Wallet
Students get to make their very own wallet and have fun completing different 100 days of school activities to earn $100!
Each time a student completes an activity from the day, they will earn $10. If they complete 10 activities they will earn $100!
How realistic does the money look?? Your students will be so excited and proud of themselves each time they get to add a $10 bill to their wallets.
What is so neat about this wallet is that I made it editable. This allows you to decide what activities you want the students to do on your 100 days of school celebration. Just type the activities that you decide into the form that I have added and the wallets will be made instantly.
Each time students earns $10, they will cross off the activity on their wallet so that they can keep track of what activities they need to complete.
Candy Jar Craft
This new hands-on craft will have your students using dot markers to make a candy jar with 100 candies.
There are 3 different options of candy jars that your students can make.
The first option has students filling in the 100 circles in any order with any color dot marker.
The second option has students dab the numbered circles in order from 1-100. Have them switch to a new dot marker color after every 10 numbers.
The last option is a candy jar challenge. I have created a color code that you can use and also a color code where you can pick the colors to go with the dot markers that you have. Students need to find the numbers in the candy jar and color them the correct color from the code.
100 Words Book
I bet if you asked your students to write 100 words, they might think that there is no way that they can do that! However, your students will not only be amazed but gain so much confidence when they see that they can write 100 words!
This activity is great for whole group practice. They will get to create their very own book with 100 words. Write sight words, names, CVC words, and more! Their 100 days of school books will fill up faster than they would ever imagine because they can do it!
100th Day Mystery Picture
You know how much I love mystery pictures! My students can never get enough of them so I of course had to include one for our 100 days of school celebration!
Students get to use a color code to reveal a mystery picture on a hundreds chart. I made 2 different options for you to choose from. There is a 100 days of school printable or an interactive mystery picture that you can add to your centers or morning tubs.
100 Days of School Necklace
Your room will quickly smell DELICIOUS with these tasty necklaces! Students get to count out 100 pieces of cereal using a hundreds chart.
Add the cereal to a piece of yarn and turn it into a fashionable and yummy necklace!
100 Days of School Tie
Let’s keep adding more fashion to our outfits during our 100 days of school celebration. This time students get to decorate and wear a fun tie. Choose from using a safety pin or string to wear the tie.
100 Days of School Hat
This 100th day of school hat will definitely have each of your students standing out and standing about a foot taller!
Students get to practice writing numbers 1-10 ten times each. That means students write numbers 100 times!
Add those numbers to the 100 days of school hat that students get to create and have so much fun showing them off!
Now and Then Pictures
Are you ready to hear lots of laughs in your classroom? Surprise your students with a picture of them now and a picture of them looking 100 years old! I show you an easy way to make this happen and for your students to be so excited to show everyone what they look like when they are 100 years old!
Check out this now and then picture!
If you aren’t able to get pictures of your students, no worries! This activity can also be completed with students drawing a picture of what they look like now and what they will look like when they are 100 years old.
100 Steps
Have you ever thought about how far 100 steps are? I honestly never had until doing this activity! Ask your students where they predict they would end up if they took 100 steps starting at your classroom door?
Then, test out their predictions by walking 100 steps and placing their footprint onto the wall where they end up. I must say, I was way off on my prediction!
I forgot to mention that I always add different writing options for you to choose from that works best for your students and classroom.
100 Glasses
Make your 100 days of school outfit complete with these fashionable glasses. Students get to make, decorate, and wear these fun 100th day glasses where you literally look out of the number 100!
100 Days of School Gumball Machine
Anytime I bring out the paint, I always have students willing to drop everything they are doing so that they can paint. Kids can’t get enough of it!
I love making these 100 days of school gumball machines because not only are they cute, but students get to practice counting to 100. This 100th day of school gumball machine has a little twist where students use Q-tips to paint the 100 gumballs.
Trail Mix
All of this 100 days of school fun will make for some hungry students! Make a very special trail mix in class with 100 pieces of food!
Students get to make their very own recyclable placemat! Then, they get to count out different foods on the placemat in ten groups of 10.
Last, students will get to take whatever trail mix they have left over home!
Personalized $100 Bills
Ready to see your students jaws drop to the floor? These personalized $100 bills have ALWAYS been a class favorite during our 100th day of school celebration.
I love adding my student’s picture to a realistic looking $100 bill. I like to laminate them before I give it to them so that they can last for a long time! Trust me, seeing your student’s amazement and happiness with this activity alone makes me so excited to make them year after year. You would be shocked to know how easy they are to make!
If I Had $100 Writing
$100 is a lot of money! To a young child, $100 might seem like $1 million dollars! Ask your students what they would buy if they had $100.
Students get to write and draw about what they would do with $100. You will get some adorable and funny responses, but they are all so fun to hear what they would buy.
100 Days of School Certificates
I mentioned how much of an accomplishment 100 days of school is. Now you can surprise your students again with their very own 100th day of school certificates where you can add their name, your name, and the date.
I have created 5 different 100 days of school certificates because I couldn’t decide which one I liked best!

You are going to have a jam packed day full of fun, laughter, memories, and TONS of 100 days of school activities. Students will be talking about this day for weeks!
