The day or week before Groundhog Day, have your students write their prediction on the band on whether or not the groundhog will see his shadow. Once the results are in, students get to complete the rest of their hat showing whether their prediction was correct and make the groundhog on the front of their hat seeing his shadow or not.
The best part is that these hats are wearable and an adorable addition to the fun day!
2. Groundhog Day Facts Flip Book
Students get to learn all about the importance and traditions of Groundhog Day. Now they get to show all of their new learning in this printable and interactive flip book. Students will fill in the blanks and/or glue different pictures to show the who, what, where, when, and why of Groundhog Day.
For example, students will get to show the day we celebrate Groundhog Day, what happens when the groundhog does and does not see his shadow, the time the results are in, what the groundhog’s name is, and more!

3. Groundhog 3D Craft
